If Grandmom, or an Aunt, or a Cousin brought this Coconut Cake to our house for any holiday or celebratory occasion, she was ushered in like Royalty! --Not because each fluffy layer of cake, made from scratch, was laced with shredded coconut.  Not because the Pineapple Filling was slowly cooked with love and a little brown sugar.  Not because the Divinity Frosting was bravely made by whipping egg whites with bubbling hot sugar syrup.  No, she was not ushered in like Royalty just because this three-layered, mouth-watering beauty took hours to make.  She was ushered in, because when you saw this cake, you knew...she loved you without hesitation.

If I have guests or family visiting, or if it's a just Sunday morning(!), I love to make these  Cheese Biscuits.  They taste even better than they look!  Do you think Claire's Bakehouse should offer these Cheese Biscuits in addition to all the sweets?  Let me know.
